When she spoke of the truemate bond, he shook his head a bit, scoffing. "Och, just because my two brothers found theres, all the sudden all ye females are talkin' on about finding yer one true mate. Tis nay fair to let have destiny choose for ye. I donnae ken why anyone would have any desire for that, aye? Better for everyone if ye choose yer own mate. Look at Bree, she didnae exactly get the man she would have choosen for herself, aye? She's screamin' at him half the time and cryin' the other half. If she'd had her choice of a male, she could have mated with Arric who worships the ver' ground she walks on." He just thought it was silly to think of being irrevokably tied to someone that you didn't know and maybe didn't care to know. "T'would be better for the both of us if ye didnae find a true mate. For you for the reasons I gave a'fore and me because I donnae want to think of ye being with yer head in yer clouds and yer thoughts all a'muddled over some male." Nodding at that, he shifted to sit up before looking back down over her. "Och, lass, so ye will collect yer things discreetly, aye? We will find a way to get ye to visit with your parents again soon but I donnae want to raise a big fuss over us leaving. We'll go in the night when I know that no one will be watching."
