Everyone always said that having a toddler was exhausting and most women looked forward to that infant stage when the babies were just cute and cuddly and stayed where you put them because they had no way of getting anywhere else. Well, having three two week old dragon whelps was similiar to have three two year olds in her opinion. All day was spent chasing them around, telling them no, cuddling them when the playing got to rough or their feelings got hurt and above all else, feeding them. It was exhausting work and she was about to pull her hair out by the end of the midday when Dane would stop working and come down to be with his family. Currently, Liam and Roarke were in their makeshift playpen - which was more of a play pen turned upside down so they couldn't get out - because their rough housing had broken a lamp and a side table and they were in time out. Their cries were pitiful and their big eyes looked so remorseful that she really just wanted to scoop them out and play them with them but she reminded herself - as she'd had to constantly the past two weeks - that they had to learn what was appropiate and what wasn't. Sitting on the couch, taking the few minutes of peace that she was afforded, Jasha was stretched out on her lap, his head resting up on his chest as he gazed up at his mam adoringly. She grinned softly, leaning down to press a kiss to his muzzle and allow him to nuzzle up against her cheek, his soft purring comforting her. The littlest egg, up in the nest, still showed no sign of hatching though, this morning, when she had checked to make sure that the egg was warm enough, she had noticed a small crack that hadn't been there before. Dane was a bit antsy about the bairn in the egg and was constantly up there watching it for any sort of inidication that the bairn was ready to emerge. "Da will be here soon, Jasha. Would you like to play with your da?" Grinning down at her baby, she bounced him softly on her lap even as Roarke and Liam started growling at the fact that they were in punishment and their brother might get to play with Da when they didn't. "Hey, it's your own fault, boys. How many times did I tell you to move away from that lamp?" The growling faded once more to remorseful whimpers and quiet begging sounds, making her roll her eyes. "No way, I am not a push over. I am not. You are staying in there the whole fifteen minutes."
