• She appeared from the hallway, the baby in her arms securely, if somewhat awkwardly. Mothering did not come naturally to her, but Gavins confidence in his parenting ability made up for her lack there of. While he was gone she had worried like crazy. She hadn't wanted him to go, worried about his safety and somewhat concerned about how she would handle taking care of the baby on her own. She really didn't want to screw things up for their daughter this early in the game. The apartment was littered with crumpled balls of paper and notes scattered amoung the numerous baby outfits and blankets that decorated it. It was a sure sign of her being nervous, her lack of concentration. • He adored his little girl and it was obvious with the way he lifted her from the carrier and cuddled her to his chest as soon as they were inside. He was a little nervous about Jordy's lack of confidence though, he had known, he knew really, that she was an excellent mother but she was so nervous about it and that made him a little nervous in turn. • "Back here" she called from her room, where she was settled in the floor huddled beneath a blanket. Her hair was pulled back in a sloppy bun held in place by a group of pencils. Around her on the floor was a mess of text books and charts and notebooks, sprinkled with balls of crumpled paper. She was getting closer and closer to her due date, and it was scaring her to death.
