As she started appologising to him her lifted his dark, troubled gaze to her, with a slight frown flashing in his eyes- shaking his head a little in heartfelt sincerity "Don;t start blaming yourself Ash- this would have happened if I was there or not- if you were here or not- things wouldn;t be any different." He knew her well enough to know what was playing on her mind- he knew she would find some way to blame herself. "These things just happen Ash- its terrible and its cruel and its unfair- but they just happen." She bit her lip, dropping her head into her hands as she let out a shaky breath. "She's all I have...I know it sounds selfish, like I am just looking out for me but I don't know what I'll do without her...she's the reason I keep on..you know?" She questioned with a sniffle to her voice, trying not to break down in tears. She just didn't know how to help her baby, how to stop the pain of everything that was going on in their lives and it all hurt just so damn badly that it nearly robbed her of her ability to breathe.
