I have downloaded "Love In Time" and listened to it. I'll save a review for much later after all have had some time to get it and listen themselves.

When I bought "Full Circle", I liked it but thought it was too short and did not flow as well as some of Dan's earlier albums.

But my honest opinion of "Love in Time" (and at the risk of being sentimental because it is his last release) - let's just say I truly think this is one of the best albums/cds Dan has ever done.

I have also downloaded Love in Time, and with every listen I like it more. I can't help it, I keep thinking how excited I was in the past to know a tour was following the release of new material, now it just breaks my heart.

Bianca, I know just what you mean, the finality is heartbreaking. And Steve, I agree it's definitely one of his best.

I love every minute of it. I love the songs. His playing is incredible. His vocals so warm and strong and beautiful. And it's a masterpiece in the way he so carefully and purposefully created it. I don't think there's any chance of getting around the weight this record holds. I loved the beautiful sustained chord at the very end, and until Jean mentioned it, I hadn't even made the connection with "To The Morning". That was a stunning realization. Incredibly moving. This is just so much more than an album of songs.

Now that the dust has settled a bit, the longing for the CD has set in again. It just doesn't feel complete yet. I really miss having the CD package and liner notes to read. Sept 22nd can't come soon enough.
