There wasn't much promotion for the show though. Jason told me about it. I had a really good time. Ran into some old friends that I hadn't seen in years. It's time to really keep the calendar up to date and to post all upcoming shows in a timely fashion. Also, folks who book shows need to keep us informed and local bands need to really promote the shows they're on. Make the flyers and hand them out. Drop them off at the CD shops, etc. And like the other person said, Get the shows listed in the Dallas Observer again. Also, spread word of mouth - kids only go to shows that other kids tell them about. Older folks might know about alot of the older bands coming through - but kids who only know about Punkcore and Charged Records bands do not and need to be informed of great shit that they're gonna miss out on if they dont come out. My $.02. I've been running show lists off and on for the punk scene in Dallas for over 7 years now.
