"I didn't mean to interupt your plans with Joey, I didn't know you were going to be there..." She bit her lip a little, shifting to put on her seatbelt and lean back against the door of the car, watching him quietly. Her eyes shifted after a few minutes to go out the window, letting him focus on driving to his apartment. God, she had missed his apartment in the artsy part of town - quiet with a great view and just so 'him'.

He frowned a little, definitely confused about why she would think anything like that at all. Maybe just because he had been acting so uncomfortable with her around... He shook his head a touch and glanced over to her, upshifting his car and then dropping his hand to her leg to squeeze gently. "My plans with Joey weren't important... We were just going to sit around and drink. I'd rather be with you - I think he would rather me be with you..."
