Subject: Her fingers brushed his cheek slowly and then twisted gently into his hair as she tugged his head back a little so that she could press a sweet kiss to the side of his mouth. Whether she was a reluctant participant or not, he was trying desperately to help her and for that, she would be forever grateful to him. It was a whole new thing to her to be cared about and looked after and she was still trying to adjust. "Thank you.." She murmured against his soft, warm skin, eyes lightly shut, because he had yet to give up on her, no matter how much she had pushed her luck.

  • He just hugged her tighter, before he tipped her chin up so he could press a warm kiss to her lips, lingering there for a few long moments before he pulled back. "You should try and eat something, sweetie, you didn't touch your soup..." He soothed her hair back and gently urged her to her feet.
