 Is there any reason why kids today should know what Shinola is, or who Clarabelle is? Is Shinola still sold and advertised? Is Clarabelle still on the air? Not to be rude, but...how can kids today be expected to understand these great old references, if they're no longer in use? As someone who came after the Shinola generation, but well before today's Xbox/Playstation/MTV generation, I don't think it's fair to criticize or look down upon today's kids just because they don't use the same language or expressions. Not that some of the things they now say are all that great - some are simply horrible - but let's be a little fair! Thanks.
