Well first of all I want to revert back to one of my charitble organizations...The Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation. I want to spend some time with the children. They always remind me how truly blessed I am and I love helping those who are less fortunate than me. I do understand that Texas is a big state and there are many things to do. Im immeadiately going to start a campaign encouraging young girls to believe in themselves and with stand the pressures of their peers and the media. I believe that self confidence and being "comfortable in your own skin" is crucial. So many times today the media and/or our peers tell us that we need to change who we are in order to fit todays image of "beautiful". Young girls have taken drastic measures to feel accepted. More than anything I want to let these girls know that they are beautiful the way God made them. And that each and everyone of us has individual gifts. I will begin speaking at elementary, junior high and high schools. There are many things I want to do, but for now I want to take things one step at a time. I promise I will try my very best to represent the great state of Texas with the upmost respect and dignity. God Bless.

You could find the Candlelighters at www.candlelighters.org. In Austin, they are offiliates with Any Baby Can, but all the branches are located at the aformentioned website as well as the candlelighters purpose and who they help.
