        No you are not stupid at all you just did not have all of the info. Hope this helps. You can be a At - Large titleholder right now and if you pay for you own crown and banner you can have then and be out using them. The only hang up is it sometimes takes 6-8 weeks to get them in that is one reason you need to order them early you might want to do some thing as your title for the holidays.         You do see this a lot Look at Lauren Lanning how many times did she compete and she has not wasted any time letting her crown and banner set on the table. She is serious. Same with Terri Jaggers how many times did she compete until she won and she has made a wonderful Mrs Texas. When you want the Title so badly you will not let one day go to waste.         Could that be because Ambers heart is in being the Texas Queen?? " In The Know" At any event you will be more welcome as the state titleholder then you will as the National titleholder only because people have a connection to the State and that National Title is not as dear to their hearts unless shes from their State. I have seen this to be true at events and pageants. - Does anyone have the Prelim date for Galaxy yet ? I think the Queens should be at all of them it is the time for the girls to help each other and that's where you make friends that last a life time. MERCEDES - Natalie Bell of Weslaco decided to visit The Science Academy of South Texas (Sci Tech), her former high school, one last time before she started college this fall. This time, however, the beauty queen brought along a new tiara and sash. The former Miss South Texas was now Miss Texas Galaxy.

Nineteen-year-old Bell was crowned Miss Texas Galaxy 2006 on July 24 in San Antonio. She returned to Sci Tech a few weeks later to share her experience with the faculty and autograph photos. For winning the title, this Valley native received a $10,000 scholarship to attend University of the Incarnate Word (UIW) in San Antonio as well as $40,000 in prizes.

Bell will double major in Business Management and Marketing at UIW. Upon graduating, she will stay in San Antonio and attend law school at St. Mary's University. This young woman plans to become a corporate law attorney. Bell is the daughter of Socorro and Dr. Anthony Bell.
