A sleeper is a girl that is a bit quiet kind of keeps to her self, never into drama never late very helpful and always kind. A sleeper is a girl that you don’t think is very serious about winning she is the girl that just “shocks you” when she gets down and competes. There are a lot of girls that hold back a little so the other delegates don’t see their special moves on stage or how they walk, just things like that.
It is just a pageant term. This year at Texas I saw a lot of Ladies that I consider sleepers. You see these girls all week and then the night of competition your thinking, “where did she come from” It’s like pageant Cinderella. It’s understandable that all week in rehearsals you would not be able to give 100%, but it’s always cool when you get to see that final product when these girls get out on that stage for finals.
Basically in regards to Monica I think she shines on stage she does have a certain something special about her. Hope to see her compete again.
