There is a certain "backstage at a performance" atmosphere to a feis that sometime can make a parent comfortable with quick on & off costume changes Unfortunately, as you have mentioned, there are a very, very few individuals who visit a feis who may have other agendas. I remember about 4 years ago after the Chicago Feis a number of photos were posted on the internet at a photography website. Some of the photos were pleasant dance pictures, but quite a few were of girls from about 7 to 13 in their bloomers and sports bras. After I saw these, my own personal standard for my daughter became: Is she dressed suitably for her photo to be posted on the internet?
