Actually, I'm talking about taking away your teachers choice to keep you in adults. I'm saying we should change the rules, not to "get" teachers to let adults dance andovers, but to change adults into an andover competition. By changing the rules, it would force teachers like yours to stop distinguising between "adults" and "andovers."

It would also help them build better/more ceili teams, since they could, if necessary bump up older andovers into the "25 and over" ceili category. Senior ceilis, and adult ceili dancers could be combined, mixed and intermingled. So, a school like mine that has too few senior dancers for a ceili, and not quite enough adults for a ceili could put a thier one or two senior dancers who want to do a ceili, in with thier 6 or 7 adults who want to do a ceili, and voila! ceili.

I'm saying that you should not have a choice, and neither should your teacher, you belong in the age group that encompasses your actual age, period.
