We hoped he would be released today. But he had a tough time sitting upright. His equilibrium is off because spinal fluid has not replenished itself enough. He vomited about 3 minutes after getting fully upright for the first time in 5 days.

But he was trying to tough it out so the doc would give the ok this afternoon. He was wheeling under his own power. Although, he did appear a bit out of it; he looked dizzy. But I know he will be awake at the crack of dawn and be determined to go home.

Unfortunately he developed a slight fever probably from nausea caused by the dizziness. He doesn't tolerate dizziness and nausea very well, fortunately its very rare for him to be ill from a cold so he hasn't really had disorienting headaches and such. Or standing up fast 'blackouts' or 'Head Rushes'.

Anyway, I'm hopeful he'll come home Saturday afternoon. He'll probably get monday off for school. But next Sat he will get to go back to his archery lessons!
