Subject: Pregnant Platys

I'm sorry if I sound boring. I just don't know what to do, we had more than 20 platies now and half of them are one month old.

I now know that female platies give birth in batches, but I don't know how long they give birth in a batch? And how many is the average frys they produce? And what are the signs that they're ready to give birth? We have a darker colored variety but I think the lighter one are also pregnant. I think she gave birth to more frys if I was aware that it's time. I should have transferred the mother in advance in a separate tank. Her belly is not that big the second time around, so I was not expecting to find babies.

I hope someone will answer this one. Thanks in advance.
