I do not know why my fiance bought me a fish for our one year anniversary, but she did. It was an Elephant-nosed fish about four inches long. I have never seen a fish like him before. We named him Howard. Well, my question is: He only lasted one whole day and was dead by the next morning. I dont know if they need a tank with an oxygen bubble thing or what. I was told that it was a tropical fish and that it would eat tropical flake food. I wanted the best for my fish so I bought it the breakfast, lunch, and dinner container. I was told he would also eat feeder fish, but I didnt know if he was too small. Can anyone put some closer to my poor Howard's tragic end?
