You should feed you baby guppies crushed up regular guppy food. Yes the mother fish will eat them so you should seperate them. After about ten days the babies can be put back into the tank with the mother, because they will be to big to eat. Also you can put them in a big drinking glass. Or you can go to petsmart and they have plastic bowls for $1 the last time I checked.
