(And here he had thought she was disoriented.. when really she just wanted him to hold her.. and that made his smile turn into a smirk as he got to his feet.) Well, I can change that.. (He murmured and then shifted to pull her purse down from the shelf, pulling out her chapstick and crossing back to sit at her side.) Pucker up, beautiful.. (He said with a teasing, but sweet smile as he looked down at her, carefully applying the chapstick for her when she did as he said, and then leaning down to press a soft kiss to her lips. He smiled as he put the cap back on the chapstick and set the tube on the stand by her bed, licking the soft flavor of cherry off his lips and crossing to the other side of the bed where there was a lot more room for a man his size to cuddle up with his girlfriend. He carefully climbed up and stretched out behind her, shifting so that his body was molded to hers, her back against his chest, and then put his arm around her so that his hand was splayed on her belly.) I wasn't in bed with you because you were hogging the whole bed before. (He said in a low voice, his tone implying that he was still smirking.) (It was like their respite in RD had taught him how precious it was to steal those moments during the day, and he had learned to not only tell her he loved her and how beautiful she was.. but to show it throughout the day. He would often kiss her simply to do so, and catch her at odd times when the mood struck him.. just doing the little romantic things that he had started to neglect when he they had moved to DC.) Mmm.. I can spoil you here too.. (He said, changing her words around and turning them back on her.)
