(He took in a deep breath as he listened to her, something inside him sinking as he realized that she wasn;t going to be swayed by his need to love her. He understood an exercise in futility and though it hurt something deep inside him to realize that this moment was going to be ruinded by this goddamned mission, he closed his eyes to bring his head back to reality.) I thought perhaps he looked a little distracted, but it appeared a bit more innocent than you think. Although he did seem a little shady. (He murmured, the muscles in his left hand jumping and causing his injured hand to flex as it often did when he was stressed. For once, though, it wasn't because he was aroused, it was because this moment meant a hell of a lot to him.. and he was realizing sort of what she felt like when he had left her at the alter.. the excitement was draining from him and the realization that other things took precidence in her mind was hurting him.)
