Hey you all :)I can give you a little more info on the CC.com situation. I wanted to get the OK before I said anything about it to you all.
The forum was taken down due to security reasons. With that said, please know that I am only relaying information to you all and was not involved in the forum coming offline.
The good news about the forum and the site is that a new CC.com will be going up in its place. One that is much more celebratory of Chris's entire musical career and also allows for better communication with his fans. By fans I mean all of his fans, Soundgarden, Euphoria Morning, Audioslave, TOTD, Chris fans, etc. I felt the need to clarify as to not suggest it only pertained to AS fans.
As I get more information I will try to provide more details about the new site, if you have any questions, feel free to ask. Please know that I cannot guarantee a response to the question.

The forum was taken down for security reasons, but lo and behold a new site is taking its place. yeah. ok.
It is great that we''ll have the forum back!

Yeah, I hate to say it, but I don't really buy the "security" baloney.
And secondly, why couldn't they just leave the forum up until the new version is ready to go online?
Whatever, happy to hear it will be back in some form...

I agree, but the "security" reason must have been the riots!!
I'm happy we'll have a new forum, I almost thought Chris turned his back on his "old" fans. I did, I did.
btw I also pm'd Bill and he said the new forum won't have the same url, but will be redirected to the new place. I think he may have a part in setting it up. I do I do.

Security issues indeed. I had to squash my old user name because of a tear in the old space time continuum of the CC forum. I'm glad that they will be able to bring back a new forum.
