Well, I agree that a lot of times religion is ruined by human beings but so is everything at some point in time. I think people are always looking for a perfect church to go to. They look for a church that is going to serve them. This is a huge problem. Church should be a way for us to serve God, not the other way around. It is a tool. People who look for the perfect church are always going to be disappointed. You know, I have met a lot of people who don't go to church because they say that they feel like they can praise God outside of it. Who's to say they're wrong? Yet, I know that going to church has helped me focus on how to serve God and I know that I couldn't do the same if I didn't attend church. Obviously this may not be the same for some people. I'm a Catholic and I believe that Jesus left us a blueprint on how to follow him. Yes, I fall short always but I do try. I know that I will always fail because I am human and a sinner but I do try. I think that other religions bring a lot to the table in terms of how to lead your life but I believe that Jesus is the Messiah.
