I did not accuse Twan of not having an open mind. I understand you looking at it that way and that is why I apologized to Nathan. He has no faith and that is what I was getting at. It's definitely not the same thing as having an open mind. I know that the man has an open mind and I praised him for it.

You know, I really don't dig that site because all it has is just one liners from the Bible. Anyone can take one sentence out of a book and take it out of context. That's exactly what the people who use the Bible to commit atrocities do, which is exactly what Nathan was talking about and I agree with.

Judges 1:19

And the Lord was with Judah; and he drave out the inhabitants of the mountain; but could not drive out the inhabitants of the valley, because they had chariots of iron.

Now here's what the site you suggested says:

Although God was with Judah, together they could not defeat the plainsmen because the latter had iron chariots.

I see a problem with this because by what the website says, God was physically with Judah, which is not the case. If it was to mean that God somehow failed, why would it be included in the Bible which is supposed to honor God?

Like I told Nathan, I respect people who actually look into this stuff because I believe it's important to do so. I don't want to believe in something that is not true so I am actually studying it. I'll be honest with all of you when I say that I just getting on it but I am trying.
