Not to diminish the negatives of what's been done here, but any women who are victims of rape who want an abortion can simply cross state lines and get it done. Of course, that is contingent upon the surrounding states keeping it legal. I wouldn't surprised if many followed suit in the near future.

I'm hoping this will backfire and will only strengthen the RvW precendent, but with the recent changes in SCOTUS, you never know...

not sure about the morning after pill, but i do believe that RU486 is considered an abortion pill. that is something you take after you already know you are preg, as far as i can remember to HS sex ed, lol.

as for the morning after pill, i was told they are a lot less harsh than they used to be. at planned parenthood they can give you two sets of MA pills, and there's some rule like you can replace them three times w/i a year, no ?s asked. as far as i know they give them out pretty regularly and you don't need any prescription. i have some in the drawer in my bathroom, just in case a drastic situation arises...

anyway NO i don't think they can consider that an abortion, b/c you have no idea if you are even preg or not if you take it.

a friend of mine thinks w/this new law what they may try to do is get doctors that perform abortion in trouble.

do you know what i don't get? is why anyone gives a flying fuck what someone else does? i mean if your next door neighbor has an abortion, what does that matter to you? even if you think it's the worst sin on earth and that person is going to go to hell, well then that person goes to hell, in your eyes, still isn't going to curse your neighborhood or some shit!
