When my daughter was in nursery school (3yrs old) I didn't have any clean undies for her, so I sent her with a small pair of her brothers ginch (batman). She wasn't embarrassed, but I guess the teacher who took her to the bathroom had a good laugh. Natalie thought it was funny too and sometimes she goes and puts on her brothers undies to make us laugh.

Is that mean of me?

ahhhh, i love the penis cake!

this isn't a parenting story, but my 85 yo friend (who is coming home on sunday) has a cake story. she was supposed to bake one for the local low-income housing place. they were having some dinner and raffling off cakes to tables and people went all out baking the cakes for this raffle. so she makes this great cake with raised soaked overnight in grand marnier and everything. she makes it once for a practice run. then she makes it the next weekend for the real deal only to find out she had the date wrong. so she brought the cake to another function. the next weekend she makes it AGAIN. this time, she places the cake on the roof of her car as she's loading other stuff into the backseat. then she gets in and drives off. halfway to the place, someone going the other direction stops her and says hey what's that on your roof?!? so the cake was rescued from danger and delivered to the benefit dinner. but quite a ride on the way there!

not as funny as a penis cake though!!!
