Christian started one like that in the main index recently. It was moved to the Questions section where it was dutifully ignored. But yeah, a new thread could still be a good idea.

I don't buy the death threat thing as a reason to shut the forum down. When it did happen, the forum was shut down for maybe a day (so they could investigate, I assume) and then it went back up. That was a few weeks, I think, before this current black-out.

Anyone at anytime could make threats on any forum. That specific one could have just as easily been made over at the AS site. You don't get rid of an active long-time forum because some nut leaves a psycho post there. I would think that few forums would be around if that was the case.

Well this really sucks....I hate being mislead that they are rebuilding another site to encompass Chris's entire career.

I have to say that Chris got just as much criticism on the AS site as CC.com. There were all kinds of posts about bring Zach back because Chris sucked, how his voice was terrible and he should just give it up, the lyrics were less meaningful than they have been in the past...all the shit that goes along with being a celebrity. Is Chris really that thin-skinned? No I don't think so..... but the death threat was certainly a very sick thing to do.

Why can't they just say what the hell is going on? I really miss the board....I think it would be a good idea to write fullerene or even Chris's management to find out what is going on and how impacted so many people.

The only thing that seems to make sense of the whole thing is that maybe Chris does just want to move on....you know when Soundgarden broke up the story was that they were just done and couldn't achieve anything else together professionally...which was bull because it really was because they couldn't stand working together anymore.

It is a very "Chris" like thing to do to leave people hanging.....
