Wouldn't surprise me. There was a fair bit said about Chris on our forum in recent times with regard to his voice, his lawsuit, Lilly & Susan, and just the usual "Audioslave is mediocre, I wish Chris was solo again" stuff. Also there was that supposed death threat which is not cool in anyone's language.

AS.com on the other hand (with moderators aplenty) seems largely to be a place where criticism is quickly tossed and even when it manages to stay around, there are 100 true believers like Clarefromscotland who are there to defend their hero's honour without question or rationale.

This is more plausible to me than "We're updating it to encompass Chris' entire career". Not that we'd ever know because Cornell never ever visited or paid credit to the CC.Com fans at all. Lucky for him his singing/songwriting was so brilliant it kept us all around regardless.

That story was interesting.

At least Draiman gave an explanation, as lame as it was.

oh sorry... the Cornell 'people' were kind enough to eventually pass along that "security-issues" catchphrase to us. And we should be grateful for that.

I don't think the forum had been worse than in other recent times, lately. I actually remember more negative threads and posts in the past.
But as everyone likes to say, Chris has changed. Maybe he'd like his fan base to change along with him, to better reflect his current music and publicly promoted image.

Maybe he'll get exactly what he wishes for and deserves.
