Some of the same topics that sparked negativity about Chris's music or his personal were discussed at other places like somms and audioslaved and they weren't shut down because they are private sites.

I also think there was some complaints about the forum (from people who didn't like what was being said) to CC's management or fullerene and so I think that's how he may have started popping in and being notified of anything.
