Subject: Valentines

I just realized that this will be the last year my son fills out 30 little valentines....

He got crazy farm animals ones this year because I couldn't find any cool skater or boy (non-character) ones. Second choice would have been King Kong. But he put fire flames by his own name on each one.

What's the funniest Valentines Day card you've seen this year?

One of the barnyard cards had a goat on it and said "Hope nothing gets your goat this Valentines Day." Of course my minds all in the gutter. Bah ah ah ahh.

Also, got my best friend one that had a bunch of old ladies on the front which I promptly named in pink pen "Me, You, Benny Hill and Steven Segal" because she really looked like an old girly Steven Segal.

My son wanted Shrek and my daughter wanted Polly Pocket. I was at the dollar store though and they had Marvel comic ones, so I couldn't resist.
The Hulk one is the best it says HULK LIKE! and the Cyclops one says I GOT MY EYE ON YOU!, etc.
So my daughter is giving the boys in her class the Marvel ones and the girls Polly.

Why is this your sons last year for valentines?

I had a stupid thought the other day! :)
I was wondering where the name Valentine came from, Valentino? That old actor? And if it did, wasn't he a womanizer?
Please, someone, clarify for me.
And thanks for reminding me that I need to get Wolfie valentines, and a bag of Red Delicious Apples for school!

tg - 5th grade. Next year they won't be exchanging these little cards. Hopefully, we're not trading in the little cards for 1 big one yet!!!

I think there's a Saint Valentine, isn't there? I know it's not named after Valentino. There's history there...doggonit, I'm gonna have to go search.
