It's my opinion that those skinny "insults" are actually meant as compliments by the people who say them. No one calls fat people fat to their face, because they know it would destroy them. If the people who call you "skinny minny" thought it actually hurt your feelings, I guarantee they wouldn't say it. They just assume everyone wants to be skinny, and therefore it's something people would always want to hear.

And it is jealously, obviously.

Yup ... at my exceptionally enjoyable medical monitoring exam last week, the doctor asked my if I worked out because I was "all skin and bones".

I told him no ... I also explained to him that the reason I have some hearing loss doesn't have anything to do with all the concerts I've seen nor the fact that my mother screamed incessently when I was growing up, but because the voices in my head just won't shut the hell up long enough for me to sit through the test.
