Torch,

Your nephew botched the job more than once, so it's a good thing you gave him counseling in private before the bombing in Frigia!

Sadly, my nephew Captain Torch also kind of botched up the Frigia bombing mission as well, in spite of my counseling. Lets face it, he tended NOT to confirm things...and just rushed off assuming a mission was accomplished. Had he been successful, Flash Gordon and his friends would not have survived. He also failed to keep our Emperor Ming out of the tower at the end. He has been airbrushed out of many family photos.

Commander Rick...speaking of nephews, it might be wise at this time to locate aka Sergeant Tim. I suspect he is actually an earthling trying to infiltrate our Mongonian guard, and he may possibly be Dr. Zarkov's brilliant nephew. Perhaps the High Priest can use his influence somehow to bring aka Sgt.Tim in for interrogation.

Memo to Officer Torch

Sergeant Time here (see 2/19/09 and 2/25/09 threads), loyal subject of the Ming Empire. I saw my comrade Sergeant Tim earlier, dressed for cold weather and in a rush, although he mumbled something about carbuncle hands or uncle hans, something like that. I tried to detain him, but he said "sorry, I don't have the time, Time."

While people on earth discuss global warming, on Mongo the problem is global cooling; Frigia is expanding at a terrifying rate probably as the result of some new scheme of Ming's.

Officer Time and Father Time are leading the battle against this diabolical threat and, as they say in FGCTU, "..are expecting results immediately".

URGENT MEMO:To Emperor Ming, High Priest, Com.Rick

Re: Sergeant Time, Sergeant Tim

Be advised it is unlikely that the aforementioned (aka)Sergeants are Mongonians....they are likely earthmen, and both now must be brought to you or the High Priest for questioning. My reasoning is as follows.

One acknowledges seeing the other in cold weather gear, with perhaps a degree of kinship (yet to be determined, but the names are similar)and moreso of a Scandinavian/Nordic name is also mentioned, as used on Earth.

It seems as though the silent movie "The White Hell of Pitz Palu"...the later release with the musical track also played in the march of the torches scene in FGCTU in Frigia where FG, Barin and friends were trapped in the avalanche, might have been intercepted and "borrowed." These scenes were from the Alps on planet Earth!

I suspect Sgts. Tim and Time are earthlings, and furthermore, one is likely the nephew of the other! It would be best for these two to turn themselves in to clarify or dispute this. Or, they must be captured at once.

As you know Sire, I am expert on sensing when someone is putting their foot in their mouth...this falls in that category.

Respectfully: Your loyal Officer Torch
