(He groaned from where he was in his bedroom, sprawled across his bed on his back, staring at the cieling and contemplating the length of time he was going to have to endure the torture of not being able to court Haylie fully because she still had a stick up her ass about the whole alter-leaving thing even though he had explained it to her a hundred thousand times and even told her it was best left in the past. If he didn't desperately love her he would have moved on a loooooong time ago and never looked back. Looking towards the door, he toyed with the idea of pretending he couldn't hear her, but when he heard his name a second time he knew that she knew he was toying with the idea of pretending he couldn't hear her and grudgingly got to his feet. She probably wanted him to move something else for her, preparing for the families to show up and annoy him with their togetherness. Sighing, he appeared in the doorway, 6'1" of purely depressed and slightly annoyed male.) Yeah?

  - "No...but I made those little mini apple pie things you like..do you want one?" He seemed so down and that made her sad because even though she thought he was an ass at times, he was like another brother to her and she loved him dearly. The little apple pie things were one of the few things she could make so it was a good thing everyone raved over them - every woman needed some kind of speciality. "Your going to hide in your room the whole time they are here aren't you? They are staying at the hotel by your guys' headquarters and will be doing mostly a lot of sight seeing till the baby is born so you won't even have to see them all that much." It was nice to have a girl like Shay, who took the place of his nonexistant family and allowed him the confidant and best friend that he couldn't truly have with someone like Remy. Remy was, and always would be, his best friend.. but the man was so intuitive that he often didnt share his deepest feelings with him for fear that Remy would read him and know everything about him. With Shay, he could tell anything and she wouldn't judge him for it.. and for that he loved her deeply. After a few moments, he pressed a kiss to her cheek and pulled back to look down at her, his hands on either side of her swollen belly.)         She smiled softly, running her hand gently through his shaggy hair before she sighed and shook her head, just hoping everything would work out of the best in the long run. "Yeah, well, he needs to hurry up then...all my cleaning is done and I'll get bored before long." She grinned teasingly, stealing a bite of his icecream before she headed into the living room to stretch out on the couch. "You might have to hep me back up from here once I am down."         (He let out a happy sigh as he ate, smirking when she snuck some of his icecream and swatting her as she walked into the living room. When he was finished - and it didnt take him long to hoover down good food - he got up and rinsed the plate before walking into the living room and sitting at her feet, lifting them to lay in his lap.) You clean too much.. we boys like it dirty.. smelly sometimes too. (He said with a smirk as he idly rubbed her feet, knowing that she complained about them being sore sometimes.) You can stay down, we all understand.. you're carrying a person around in your stomach. (He said dryly, looking over at her with a contented smile. He found with Shay that he liked taking care of someone, it lightened his mood and made him feel useful which was very important to him.
