(He smiled as he shifted to pick her up by the waist and set her on the counter so that he could kiss her neck playfully, his excitement making him feel mischevious.) Well you should buy it then.. there won't be much time to get it properly fit since I have to leave in six days.. (He murmured against her neck, his hands framing her narrow hips. He was afraid to get married, but oddly enough a bit of excitement had started to build when he thought of coming home to his wife.. of being there for her when she was pregnant like Shay. Yeah.. he had thought about children, and perhaps it wouldn't be so bad.. he would just have to hope that he could be a better father than his own had been.) (He smiled down at her even though he had seen the flicker of upset in her eyes.. knew that she was worried about him not being there for the birth. Hell, he was upset that he was going to miss her being pregnant.. he wanted to watch her grow with child and be there when she threw up in the morning and all of it.. just as much as he wanted to hold her hand when she went through labor. The thought of her being there alone made him positively sick to his stomach.. though he knew her family would be by her side.) Then my threats worked. (He said gently, having told the baby the night before that if he didn't let up on making Shay throw up that he was just going to have to kiss her more often.)
