She bit her lip, her eyes dropping to his shoes for a long moment before she swallowed roughly and allowed the shining depths to move up to meet his gaze. "I..." She bit her lip, trying to fight back the tears that she was blaming on hormones - she was not a cryer. "..I need you." She stated softly, her brow furrowed and gently knitted in a confused manner. "..I don't want to do this without you, I want you here with me..and..and I need you." She swallowed heavily, dropping her eyes back down to the floor to hide the shine of tears that were coating her gaze. She didn't want him to see her weak like this but she knew there was no way to hide it anymore, without him, she was weak. She had been at the lowest point in her life when he left her and now, so much more now, she needed him like she needed her next breath. She didn't want to let him go, it was the same with her as it was with him. She trusted his skill, his power and strength but she also knew that her boyfriend had enemies out there and people who would like to see him taken out...and it was dangerous work he did. At least she was going into intelligence, quietly tucked away in her relatively safe office...much more safe than it had been before at least, since Remy had gone crazy with his security and all that with the new headquarters. Her fingers slipped up, finally grabbing his shirt, twisting there as her brow furrowed and she kept her head ducked.
