(He watched her, an almost boyish sense of insecurity running through him as he awaited her response.. the weight of which might possibly decide how their relationship would progress from here. Her simply words seemed to draw a strength out of him that he hadn't realized he had tucked away.. a part of him that had been popping up only when needed and was always hidden the rest of the time.. that protective and possessive part of him. His eyes softened even as he seemed to stand a little more proudly than he had been before, and he took a step into her.) Oh, Haylie.. (He murmured, drawing her into his arms as though she had finally said the words he had been waiting on pins and needles to hear. His heart soared, and he all at once wanted to soothe away her tears and laugh with relief. As he ran his hand over her back, his other hand came up to tip her face up to his.) There is nothing to worry about there darlin.. it'd take a hell of a lot more than some transport mission to take me away from you.. (He said softly, running his thumb under her eye before pressing a kiss to her forehead.) We're in this together, Haylie.. I love you too much for it to be any other way. (His hand was firm at her lower back when it finally came to a stop, and his eyes were shining with affection as he looked down at her, so completely glad that he had gotten this moment with her.. to see her open up and give admition to her feelings.. it meant so much to him.)
