Concordo plenamente com a sua narrativa, em especial quando você afirma que "a leitura do texto de Paiva (2005) demonstra claramente que o ensino da gramática não precisa ser monótono, repetitivo e baseado na escrita de uma determinada classe social (geralmente mais aculturada e de prestígio), mas centrado no aluno, no seu universo e no que é importante e significativo para ele (Paiva, 2005; p. 175). As atividades variadas, interativas e contextualizadas levam o aluno a aprender gramática de maneira natural, dentro do uso da língua (com material autêntico), e centrada na comunicação que é o objetivo de se aprender uma língua estrangeira."

Considero esta abordagem o aspecto preponderante do texto de PAIVA e FIGUEIREDO.
