Poor Angus, he wasn't about to willingly give her his arm, despite his orders to help, and her request to have it. She couldn't really blame him, and the small trick had worked flawlessly in finding what got beneath his skin. The shaking hand lowered, half hidden in deep sleeves as ragged as cloaks hem. A dry cackle emitted to hear the place was "more or less vacant", fully confident in his ability to secure the place in a timely manner. As he asked if there were anything else, she seemed to consider this with a cant of cowled head, shuffling feet drawing her closer, and shortening the small distance between them. The reek of urine, spice, tobacco and age grew stronger, and there was a good deal of witchy amusement in the cracking crones voice.
"Thee for dinner. Thee can answer a few questions for me hmm?"
She waited only for him to open the door and step out, and surely he would want to in a quick way as close as she had come. He was surely not to enjoy the invitation extended either,(she might indeed eat him for dinner) but this was neither the time nor place for inquiry.
"I'll wait here while thee see to things. I trust it will not take thee more than an hour?"
It did not appear she wished an answer, for as soon as the door was opened, she was shuffling her way through the crowd, again the crowd parting for her without any real idea they were doing so, and she returned to her formerly occupied table. She made note, that the drunkard who had been sitting at the one next to it..the one Morley had sat down across from, was gone.
