~Open the door for her?, hardly her stench alone pushed him through it. I mean really, Angus had lived in the belly of a ships hold for weeks on end with other members of the crew.. like Gangrene.. lord knows that man reeked.
Truly her stench was equal to Gangrene's any day. He squeezed up against the door when she entered back into the tavern. Somehow his respect for her doubled as the crowd made way for her as did earlier.
He thought it was a witch's doings when all it was her stench.
Angus looked to where the captain was, as if by smell Robert lifted his nose as in tasting the air. Robert was his first priority, and moving up behind him, his whisper to Robert's backward lean into Angus to hear.
A shake of Robert's head as if to agree to what Angus planed.
Next Angus spoke to another mountain of a man named Isaha who was a tad smaller of the two behemoths, and soon Isaha moved nearer Robert to be Robert's new body guard.
Angus made for the front entrance, he stopped to give Cricket nod.. then his hand motioning her to stay put till he returned to collect her.
Walking out into the street.. he actually laughed, making a face to one of the town guards. She was not a sorcerous, the old gal had him fooled. The town guard who's job to light the towns light post, gave Angus one of those looks one would give a madman.
Mad?.. perhaps so. Angus felt like he had just slew a sea monster. Again Angus laughter rang out louder then usual ruckus coming from the Salty Dog.
Remember the town guard who lite the lamp post.. He ducked behind that next lamp post he was about to light, and when Angus swirled his body by one hand around that post.. the town guard said something to the effect "the hell with this job, they don't pay me enough."
Out in the street was a madman laughing, the at one time town guard handed both his long candle light stick, and his sword to the nearest old lady saying.. "you do it, I'm out of here". ~
