::the scene.. Nightfall, just outside The Gambler's Folly. The road that ran past the Folly seemed a tad deserted, save for the shadows. It was when the shadows spied their target come out.. then gruff voices heard in whisper. "that's her" and "are you sure mate" would indicate their strong suit was not the art of stealth or surprise.
She did not go far when those same whispers took shape moving from the vale of darkness. One the size of a small mountain, the other weasel like. They both moved up behind her, a mirror pair of the two just ahead.. those these two before used not the shadows, you saw what you saw, and one word comes to mind "Pirates."

A cigar butt tittering on the lips of one who speaks in broken English:: Ar ye one called mouse? ::he leaned back against the lamp post, no fear of being seen, and defiantly not giving any threatening moves. As she turns with quick glance behind her, the odd pair took chase prepared stance in the event the little lady decided to flee::

Nae need ta run lass, ar orders were to deliver message be all. ::Still he leaned against the post, not even looking at her, but she could tell he was speaking to her. His hand moved slowly to take hold of the butt.. flick off the built ash on its end, then place back where it seemed to grow from his face::

I knows nae ta judge book by its cover, but if ye ask me.. yer little self be more then all four of us combined. Me boss put lots of importance in getting this message to ye, an that to gives me the wheelies, for my boss don't send word unless ye gots potential.

So I ask ye again.. ar ye one named mouse?

::if she says "aye.". the one named Fetch hands her a note::

~Note~
Ye come 'highly recommended, so I will cut ta chase. I find meself in need of one wit yer skills, ta do touchy job fer meself. I nae josh ye, there be peril in it, as well as tempt'n reward.
If'n ye wish ta 'ear more, then come ta me ship "Crimson Tide" at's midnight this eve where ye will be met an escorted aboard. Bring this 'ere note, an it be see'n ye through docks unaccusted.
Enclosed wit in this 'ere note be payment just fer consider'n me offer. If'n ye decline, then nae need worry'n I's takes offense, but leave choice ta yerself.

Robert Morley

PS'n 'ere... tell me mate there, one called Fetch, that 'e needs ta quit read'n me messages. I knows 'e does.

::Enclosed within, melted into the wax seal of his signature to hold it to the note was a diamond. Even a half assed thief could tell its worth at 500gps with any pawn dealer or gem merchant::
