I guess I'm not really picking on the police. I've always been pleased with their response to other types of disturbance calls. I would just like to know if there's a legitimate reason why they don't break up teen parties that get out of hand. Parties of this magnitude would never be allowed to continue beyond a certain hour if it were held at someone's house. It's a bit perplexing.

And I agree with you whole-heartedly that parents should be a little more aware of what their teens are up to. I know they can't watch them every minute, but this incident proves that it could be matter of life and death.
