Certainly I'm not the only one who has these suggestions. Nothing is new or amazing. It's all just good sense and actually caring about the place I call my hometown. I have my life here and my memories. Unlike some of our recent governments who see Newburgh as a depressed cash cow. I put my ideas out here because I'm tired of trying to keep the lipstick on the pig. Making my little piece of Newburgh look good while my neighbors sit watching pisses me off. I just can't believe I'm the only one who's fighting this battle. Even if it looks that way. A lot of Newburghers got bamboozled and followed some Johnny Comelatelys. Others just got damn lazy. The rest of us, and that's not too many are carrying the whole load. Too much money comes in and disappears. Too much money is going out. What you folks don't seem to understand is most of that money is our taxes! We got no means of support here and nothing much on the horizon. So maybe it's time to turn off the TV or PC and get out there and take matters into our own hands. I put my life in to my home and I'm not giving it away to somebody who doesn't care about me. Not without a fight anyway.

Happy holidays everybody. Thanks for the nice things said. Now prove the support. It's for all of us.
