Somebody's completely out of their absent-landlord mind! Firefighters are NOT NOT NOT EXPENDABLE COMMODITIES in this, as it's been called, horse's ass town! (Our City Council et al on the other hand...) Paybacks? Salary DECREASES? What's next? Volunteer Police Force? How about letting the Boy Scouts handle law enforcement (merit badges awarded)? How about letting the 4-H Club monitor water and sewers? Let the Candy Stripers handle EMS/EMT. What a damn sad sorry disgrace! Happy now Newburgh? And it doesn't say much for a union that strips work incentive from its members, buckling under the sorry antics of a selfish circus of trained clowns and monkeys in a cute building on lower Broadway. What a flea circus!
