Drive around and notice what houses are pale blue. Notice who tends to live in pale blue houses. Pale blue is a color in the Ecuadorian flag. In some Latin/Hispanic cultures the color is supposed to ward off evil. (Don't step on, pick up, walk too close to or run over dead chickens with no head.)

OK. The ARC strikes again. A pompous bunch of fools who make themselves very important around here but like most of our committees and commissions don't have a clue and could't find one if they stepped in it. I am so sure that many of the buildings on the east end were originally built with aluminum or vinyl siding. It was very popular in the 1800 and early 1900's. That's why the City Hall restoration used so much of it.

Pale blue was a very popular color back then too! A very big item at Ye Olde Home D'potte Sundries and Dry Goodes Shoppe. Gen'l and Mrs. G. Washington were huge fans as were the familie of Mr. A.J. Downing. Just have a look at his olde house. Very pale.

The "A" in ARC does not stand for Accountable any more than the "R" stands to Research.

The Queen of Hearts put it aptly, "Off with their heads!"
