This forum came about because that "other" one has a policy of censorship where opposing ideas are not allowed. It started when a small group of people became aware that people in Newburgh aren't the stupid hicks they thought we are. Then they tried to bring this board down by taking advantage of the progressive policy here where everybody's opinion could be posted. There have been some very inflamatory things posted here to cause trouble and they were found and traced. Then this board got cleared but didn't disappear. It's not a competition here just a matter of letting people communicate with others in a place where that sort of thing isn't very much liked. Even if your opinion isn't the same as others you're still free to post it as long as you don't lie to injure people. Pretty simple. The other board claims that it's the "official" board for Newburgh but it's the official board of a very small group of carefully picked people who don't represent all of us. If they're reading this board that's their right. If they want to post they can and if they don't that's probably better because they really don't want this board in the first place and will probably only try to damage it. We appreciate this board and are happy that all opinions can be posted by all people.
