Subject: Dark Question For 10/4

It's not hard to see that there is a very strong bond between sire and childe in the vampire world. One to turn, one to submit to the crossover. And there is an extreme learning process and period of training that goes hand in hand with becoming a vampire. Rules to be learned, techniques to be mastered. Feeding, creating blood charts, learning how to manipulate personal extras...it's a lot harder than it looks.

If you wer recently born into darkness, and DIDN'T have a 'teacher' to tell you the way things work in darkness...do you think you'd be able to survive on your own? Remember...the Elders are always watching. And anything that they see as a threat to them or to the exposure of vampire-kind...is sure to be terminated. And if your extra, in its beginning stages, goes haywire (like it does for many vampires, before they learn a certain level of skill)...there's no one there to tell you how to gain some control over it. So what do you think? Could you crossover on your own, and still survive? Or would you need a mentor to guide you through to vampire maturity?

Let us know!
