It is testosterone surging through my follicles. It screams of a forgotten time when I was a savage hunter in the wilderness. Should I be forced to let go because of modern preferences, the illusion of cleanliness, and intellectualized emasculation. And please don't argue that women are expected to be shaving their legs and other areas. I am sorry, but hair on woman is just horrifying. Yes it is a double standard, but that's life. I also don't think that we need to go shaving our bodies. Trimming a bit is another thing. I think that taming the wild areas of one's body hair is a good thing. Too much hair can get in the way of a number of activities. But shaving the whole body just to please the ladies? I don't think so. I think that we need to figure out why women think they want hairless men. What has driven them to this conclusion? Now, do I think that this shaving trend has anything to do with some women's lib conspiracy? About as much as I believe in the Elders of Zion controlling the world's economy: I don't. Both are paranoid conspiracy theories. So I would say that we are just dealing with a backlash stemming from a glut of advertising schemes that "brainwash" consumers, convincing us to conform to their concepts of beauty, handsomeness, slimness, HAIRLESSNESS, etc. [ Post a Reply to This Message ]

I concede that this thread, started by someone calling themselves "Dr. Stanton R. Jazzercise", may indeed be the product of someone who is not entirely serious about the thread. I mean that the good doctor is probably not really as upset as he portrays himself to be. The hyperbole and sarcasm that I imagine him delivering his words with may be only in my mind, though...who knows? But I don't think you need to get that upset at him, in any case. If he is having some fun, then don't take it too seriously. Don't give him the satisfaction. If he is really serious, then you should not attack him.
