Fibromyalgia Internet Based Research Online)

Some of you may not know that I suffer with fibromyalgia (FMS). It is a chronic, painful illness with no known cause, cure or effective treatments. It is a life-altering condition that affects over 10 million Americans. I am the fundraising director of a non-profit organization that is conducting a research project for fibromyalgia, and I am hoping you can help in this effort to further our knowledge of this illness I am suffering with.

I ask if you will volunteer 10 minutes of your time to participate in this fibromyalgia research initiative in the form of an online survey. Even if you do not have fibromyalgia, your input is important. In order for a study to have more value, it needs to include a group of people who are not afflicted with the illness (called a control group) so the data from the two groups can be compared. That is why I am calling on you, my friends and family members, to help with this endeavor.

These abstracts were selected for presentation at each of the scientific meetings of the ACR ( American College of Rheumatology) in 2007 and 2008. The abstracts were also published in the Journal of Arthritis and Rheumatism and can be viewed at their website:

Although there is still no definitive laboratory test to confirm its existence, progress is being made. Research using functional MRI’s has revealed that more pain can be visualized in the brain of FMS patients than in healthy controls that are being exposed to identical stimuli. The first annual "ALL AMERICAN GIRL" PAGEANT WILL BE HELD Sunday, June 14, 2009 (Flag Day). This pageant is being held to honor those American Heroes who have fought to protect our Freedom. The pageant is open to all states. The pageant will be held in West Virginia. The following age divisions are eligible to participate.
Baby-Miss (ages 4-9 months)....Wee-Miss (ages 10 months-1)...Tiny-Miss (ages 2-4)...Little-Miss (ages 5-7)...Junior-Miss (ages 8-10)...Pre-Teen Miss (ages 11-13)...Teen (ages 14-16)...Miss (ages 17-21)...and Ms....(ages 22-27).

Contestants will be judged in three phases of competition: RED-WHITE AND BLUE Wear....Partywear..and Photogenic...there will also be several side awards given.

OK Ladies,
I was just reading on here about the scheduling conflicts, so I am looking at booking our pageant for next March.
I am thinking we should do a Roman/Egyptian theme.
We could award Pharaoh/Queen titles and have a toga optional. I was thinking of having it in Mattoon based on where I have other pageant scheduled.
It will be the weekend of March 20-21, 2010.
I need input!!!
Anyone like this idea - or do you all think I'm just nuts?!?! LOL

I am looking for donations for a benefit pageant for March of Dimes. We need crowns, tiaras, trophies, sashes or donations to purchase these items.

I received an email from a lady in Cape Girardeau, MO who is a Neonatal Intensive Care nurse at St Francis Hospital. They are holding a benefit pageant for the March of Dimes in April at the West Park Shopping Mall and asked for my help.

If anyone has any of these items they are willing to donate to help this lady, please email me so we can arrange pick-up / delivery.

I will be at the ABP Easter Pageant and can meet anyone wanting to donate in Northern IL that weekend.

I am planning to attend the pageant and help as well, so if any royalty want to attend and help with crowning, you can contact me as well. We can carpool if at all possible.

Entry fee is $59.00 and the pageant registration starts at 12:30 p.m.

please stop changing your date without telling anyone, i have been to your calendar several times recently and you keep changing pageant dates. we put them on our calendar and then you change dates/locations without teling any one. how are we supposed to plan if you cant pick a day and stick to it, if you are going to make changes at least post it so we know to go look.
you directors think you rule the pageant world, but without entries you have no system, stop trying to sabotage each other and work together. we want to do pageants, but not if we keep feeling like its us against you. we plan how to spend our weekend when we check your web site. change it and it cahnges our plans. jeez, just tell us youre moving it or something.
is it that hard, you guys can post here for everything else, at least let us know when you change something.
