Why lie about another director saying they "pick their winners" when you know its a lie. You're contestants will eventually find out what kind of a director you are. Your numbers will fall, your controversy level will rise, and your friends and family will leave. Your contestans will tell their friends you're a liar as well. Does it make you feel better to deceive people in an attempt to make you and your system look reputable? Are you that insecure about yourself and how you run your system? My advice to you, treat people with respect. They will in turn respect you. Lies beget lies. At some point you will no longer remember the lies you've told and who you've told them too. I have to agree 100% with this statement. Director's need to really take heed to what they say not only about other directors but contestants as well. We have been turned off and stayed away from a few systems for this exact reason. Northern Illinois Scholarship Program's Pageant is being held on Nov. 11th in Round Lake Beach Illinois which is a few miles from Great America and Gurnee Mills Shopping Center. We are a program with a purpose and a pageant. NISP is based in community service and loads of fun. Check out our website and photos to see what we are all about. Our Age divisions are Tiny Miss 4-5, Little Miss 7-9. Junior Miss 10-12, Young Miss 13-15, Teen Miss 16-18 Miss 19-26, Ms 19-34, Mrs 20-24 and Classic over 35. We will also be crowning our Supreme Titles. Pageant fee of 159.00 includes 3 optionals. (6 to chose from)
Our pageant is more natural in tone. We do have interview as well as an on stage speech . Hair and makeup is allowed but keep toned down and appropriate to age. No tanning is needed at all. Modeling is off the rack.

Subject: Joyce has a great idea. What would everyone think of a pageant for toys for tots?

Our local fire department usually collects them and donates them and I would love to help a child have a toy for Christmas. I don't have specifics but I was thinking like a $50 entry fee (to cover the cost of room rental and crowns) and then everyone must donate one toy to toys for tots. Anyone who wants to donate a toy simply has to paypal or send me a check for the amount they want to spend. I will pick a toy(s) that I spent that amount on and put it aside with the donors name on it. We can run this for a few weeks, then have anyone that wants to go along, get together and take them to the Marine base and donate them all. And the best part is, you dont have to shop for it! I think its a shame to take all these things back when I got such a deal on most of it. Thanks to everyone who has opened their heart to help me make Compassionate Crowns successful. Hello Everyone! I will not take door entries at this pageant. If I do not get enough people to preregister I will have to cancel. Rockford is about a three hour drive for us. Any agency asking for money is a SCAM. My DD is with an angecy for Big name brands and we only pay commission. We have NEVER paid any money to them but commissions.
