Thank you for your comments. Am not too sure where to start in our defence however. As you directed your comments at me personally perhaps I should start by saying yes I have seen "one or two" professional shows - I was BBC Radio Leeds theatre critic for two years seeing rather a lot of productions in the region, and as Little Theatre Guild rep for Bingley, hundreds more productions by our peers. Many members too are avid theatre fans seeing professional productions week in week out.

BLT is a success because of the quality of its members - their enthusiasm and talent is an inspiration. Of course we can't please everyone all the time, but judging by the audience reactions we get 8 weeks a year we are clearly doing something right.

Here's to the next 60 years of BLT!
