Well they do say theatre is here to challenge and provoke debate. I liked the play, it had some very funny moments, and the cast, crew and production team did a great job.

I was surprised that Julie did not enjoy the play.

Firstly it looks like the little tinker sneaked in past the art centre staff without buying a ticket. I wish I had the chutzpah to do that; I paid for my ticket, as I imagined did everyone else who either liked it or hated it. Watching a performance for free of charge surely should have sweetened the load though. Better hope our treasurer does not read your post, you might end up with a bill…

Secondly, I’m not sure which pantomime’s Julie’s seen in her time but I can pretty much say it’s not been Bingley or Keighley’s annual family Panto’s. Her point of reference may have come from watching Jim Davidson adult style pantomime’s, certainly a more fruiter style of theatre, and why not.
